Updated photos January 2011

A local art show with 5 of Tricia's painting. The panel with the 5 works ... the 3 on the left are Tricia's

Some views around our new home property. A view of jimmy's veggie garden

Looks like a swimming pool. Cost us 2.5 Grand so far .. we've been in 3 times!
A cool cat walkin down the street to get some money
 An old fart mugger target
 More property shots
The Axeman prepared for winter

Dog and Master. Who is which?

Why is there only hair on the side? Where is the front and back hair?

Fruit trees were dying when we came. Jimmy fertilized and mulched. Then the "Powers That Be" sent huge rains. Now there is fruit. More than we can use so we devise ways to distribute to "Others"

It really did finally grow as high as an Elephants Eye. Mainly due to the PacaPoo (shit from Alpacas) given me by the next door neighbors. AND - I can't believe how this corn tastes. I think it might be the juiciest and tastiest I've ever had anywhere! About 100 ears yet to come.

A shitload of potatoes I'm going to be hard pressed to find how to give away!
The lengths I went to ... to get the bloody Magpie birds out of the garden. The light wasn't quite right to show all the flashy stuff I put up. You can see the plastic Owl though. Magpies are too smart for that.

Headin' out to the 2 (out of 3) Dams (ponds) all full of water.

Some other views. That thing that looks like a treehouse or childs cubby house. Well we're not sure. Some say it was built for kids. Others that it was designed as a bird blind, so some previous owner could sit in there and birdwatch. The area will eventually become our chicken home.

Jim in his almost Magpie proof garden!

Here I am in what I hoped would be a totally Magpie proof garden. The holographic tape that doesn't show up so well, flashes rainbows and makes a racket. And the whirly kid's things ... well they whirl and make rainbows too! It's pretty darn effective. But everything I read makes those Maggies sound like real smart cookies. I'm going to put in a bunch of magnolias tomorrow (supposedly they don't like strong smells) The next step would be a plastic Owl. (wanna avoid that so the good birdies don't go) And so on and so forth!

View of our back porch which we have adopted as our front porch!

Lali following Jimmy around (everywhere) As usual

A poor, uninteresting shot! Edge of house and driveway

Plenty of room for vehicles and handyman 'stuff' (if only I were a HandyMan!)

South by southwest toward boundary with neighbor

Just about due south, end of garden, beginning of driveway

More garden and view of pond #3

The 'birth' of Jim's garden. 45 bales of lucerne hay with 5 cubic metres of super garden mix on top!

Towards pond #2 and the edges of jimmy's garden

Further south by southeast and the "bird blind" the original owner built! I assume he sat up in the little cubby and watched the birds. He built dozens of nesting boxes everywhere in the trees, but alas no birds seem to use them!

Further East by South East towards pond #2
